Requirements
- AlphaRelay Operator installed and activated on the viewing device
- A valid device license for the same organization as the mission; normally this is a separate device, while the Android device that created a Controller Livestream can view that mission itself
- Internet on the viewing device
- An active mission whose saved information has reached the agency account; remote viewing must be running for video
- A selected device person and precise location permission when Operational Map is enabled
Open Mission Viewer
- Open AlphaRelay Operator on the viewing device.
- On Android, tap View Live Mission. On iOS, tap Watch Live Mission.
- Choose an active mission. Use Refresh if the mission started after the list opened.
- Watch the live video and timeline. Timeline events can continue updating while video connects or retries.
- Use a scenario quick-event button or enter a manual event, then tap Log event.
- Open Ask AI, type or dictate a question, review it, and submit it after a current live picture is available. Verify the saved answer against the video.
- Open Nearby map / Map to see mission-scoped pilot and officer positions when available.
- Use Share live or the QR control to show a read-only public live-view link.
- Use Switch mission to choose another active mission.
Relay voice command. If the picture is not ready, wait for video and try the event again. The screenshot becomes part of the mission record, appears as a small image in the timeline, and may be reviewed by AI if the agency enabled that option. Review every AI description before using it in a report.
New AI alerts appear as highlighted banners and remain in the timeline. Person detections use informational/yellow treatment; possible weapons and other threat indicators use red review treatment. Treat every alert as a prompt for human review, not a confirmed finding.
When Operational Map is enabled, selecting a mission starts location sharing for the person selected on the viewing device. The map labels that device as a Remote viewer. Tap Stop Sharing in Operator when the viewer leaves the operation. Ending the mission or choosing another mission also updates sharing. Treat every position as advisory: it does not independently verify who carries the device and it is not the aircraft’s location.
The public live QR opens a browser view without requiring AlphaRelay sign-in. Anyone with the link can watch the active video only. The public page does not show mission events or alerts and cannot be used to log or review them. Share it only with intended viewers.
Live Ask AI captures a current received picture after you submit the question and saves the answer into the same mission history used by Mission Overwatch and the active Operator screen. Dictation fills the question; review the transcript before submitting. The answer covers only that picture and does not follow later scene changes.
For Controller Livestream missions, Mission Viewer settings can update Controller audio for new stream/recording segments and Voice event logging for Relay utterances. On an Android viewing device, voice-event logging can use that device’s microphone even when the incoming stream has no audio track.
When the mission ends
Mission Viewer marks the timeline read-only and disables event entry after the mission closes. Use Mission Overwatch for closed-mission media review, AI Review, reporting, sealing, and export.Limits
- Mission Viewer requires internet; it has no offline active-mission list.
- Only active missions in the licensed organization appear.
- A mission can provide timeline updates even when remote video is unavailable.
- Android viewer events cannot attach current-frame evidence until a complete live frame has arrived.
- Mission Viewer does not expose aircraft controls or closed-mission review tools.
- Live Ask AI needs internet, AI enabled for the agency, and a complete current picture. Dictation also needs microphone and speech-recognition permission.
- Anyone who receives a public live link can view the active read-only mission without signing in until an authorized user turns it off or the mission ends. Treat the link like a password.
