Requirements
- iPhone or iPad running iOS 26
- The organization-provided AlphaRelay Copilot app installed
- A Copilot device license or one-installation pairing code
- Screen Recording permission; microphone and speech-recognition permission when voice events are needed
- Internet for remote live, immediate sync, cloud Live AI, Mission Viewer, and upload; saved events and footage can retry later
Activate the device
- Open AlphaRelay Copilot.
- Scan the organization license QR code, enter the 8-character pairing code, or enter the full
ar-…license key. - Select the operator when the organization roster contains more than one operator.
Start capture
- Open AlphaRelay Copilot and choose a built-in or agency scenario, or No scenario.
- Confirm the operator, enter the mission name, and optionally add up to eight Mission-specific AI targets, one visible item per line.
- Tap Start Mission.
- In the iOS broadcast picker, choose AlphaRelay Capture. Enable the microphone when the recording needs microphone audio, then start the broadcast.
- Open the flight app. Keep the iOS screen-recording indicator active while AlphaRelay captures in the background.
Log and update the mission
- Use scenario quick events or Log event with current frame. Copilot attaches a fresh controller-screen image when capture can provide one.
- Leave Voice events enabled to say
Relayfollowed by the note. Copilot saves the note with the latest captured frame. - Use Update AI targets to change mission-only visible targets without restarting the mission. Offline edits remain queued for cloud sync.
- Live AI alert notifications can appear over the flight app. They are review prompts, not confirmed findings.
Complete the mission
- Return to AlphaRelay Copilot.
- Tap Sync now when pending items remain and connectivity is available.
- Tap Stop and complete mission.
- Keep Copilot open while ReplayKit finalizes the MP4 and saved events and footage are handed off.
Watch another active mission
From mission setup, tap Watch Live Mission. Choose an active mission in the same licensed organization to watch remote video, follow its live timeline and alerts, and add quick or manual events. Mission Viewer cannot start the mission or control the aircraft; event entry becomes read-only after the mission closes.iOS boundaries
- Copilot captures the selected iOS display or app; it does not control the aircraft.
- iOS does not use Android’s DJI Goggles USB/LogicLink auto-detection or the deployment-specific Android local-network relay.
- iOS uses its own on-device fallback rather than Android’s full multi-object detector.
- ReplayKit capture must be verified on a physical device; Simulator behavior does not prove field capture.
