Generate the after-action report

  1. Scroll to After-Action Report.
  2. Click Generate Report.
AlphaRelay uses Alpha AI to build the after-action report from the mission record, including events, screenshots, timestamps, mission metadata, scenario information, footage blocks, and custody and integrity data. The report is generated from the structured mission timeline, helping turn live mission activity into a clear, review-ready after-action report.

Review and edit the report

After Alpha AI generates the report, AlphaRelay displays a structured after-action report that may include sections such as:
  • Narrative summary
  • Important timeline
  • Evidence notes
  • Items requiring officer review
The officer should carefully review the full report before finalizing it. Pay special attention to Items Requiring Officer Review. These are areas Alpha AI has identified as needing human confirmation, clarification, or additional detail. The officer should:
  • Review each item listed under Items Requiring Officer Review.
  • Confirm whether the report accurately reflects the mission.
  • Edit the report as needed.
  • Add any missing context, corrections, or officer observations.
  • Verify that the timeline, evidence notes, and mission summary are accurate.
The report should remain in draft form until the officer has reviewed and addressed any required items.

Seal the mission evidence

Once the report and evidence have been reviewed, the officer can seal the mission evidence. Sealing the mission locks the mission evidence and prevents further changes to the sealed evidence record. Under Mission Chain of Custody, the officer may see options such as:
  • Download Mission Custody Certificate (HTML)
  • Seal Entire Mission
  • Seal Entire Mission and Verify Downloads
Use these controls when the mission record is ready to be preserved. Before sealing, make sure
  • The correct footage is uploaded
  • Events are accurate
  • The report has been reviewed
  • Items requiring officer review have been addressed
  • Any needed edits have been completed
  • The custody record is ready to be locked
Once the mission is sealed, evidence changes are no longer allowed.

Submit for supervisor approval or return to draft

After reviewing the report and evidence, the officer can choose the next step. Submit for supervisor approval Click Submit for Supervisor Approval when the mission report is complete and ready for command or supervisory review. Do this after:
  • The report has been edited and verified
  • Items requiring officer review have been addressed
  • Evidence has been reviewed
  • The mission record is ready for approval
Return to draft Click Return to Draft if more changes are needed. Use Return to Draft when:
  • The report needs additional edits
  • Evidence notes need correction
  • Officer review items still need to be addressed
  • The mission record is not ready for supervisor approval
This allows the officer to continue working on the report before final submission.
