Events are timestamped notes on the mission timeline. Keep them short and specific.
During the mission
AlphaRelay Copilot
- Tap quick event buttons or the quick event wheel (phone layouts)
- Enter manual event notes
- Voice relay: say
relay followed by the event details (e.g. relay suspect entered north door)
- Device Live AI person and possible-weapon alerts from cloud analysis or automatic on-device fallback — review these before treating them as facts
In Controller Screen Capture, voice relay can save a controller-screen screenshot with the event when screen capture is active.
Mission Overwatch
- Use Event Logging quick buttons (match the scenario template labels)
- Use Manual Event (fast) for free-text notes
- Tap Dictate, speak the event, review the transcript, and click Log Manual Event when the browser supports speech recognition
- These Mission tools remain available for active Internet missions; they do not require a Local Network relay
Android or iOS Mission Viewer
- On a second licensed device, tap View Live Mission on Android or Watch Live Mission on iOS and choose the active mission
- Use scenario quick-event buttons or enter a note under Add mission event…
- Viewer events join the same mission timeline; logging turns off when the mission ends
Screenshots from the live feed are captured automatically when the workflow supports them. Local AI screenshots can include yellow detection boxes.
When configured AI and cloud sync are available, AlphaRelay automatically queues screenshot analysis for typed manual events and voice-relay events that have a synced screenshot. Quick-event buttons do not use this automatic path. The human-created event remains an official event, but any generated image analysis must still be checked with Accept as is or Review & edit before the analysis can enter the report narrative.
Mission Overwatch refreshes the focused shared timeline while the page is open. Events logged by Copilot or Mission Viewer and automatic device alerts can appear without a page reload; an alert can appear before its screenshot finishes syncing.
For a Device Live AI or AI live-watch alert, choose Approve alert in the timeline before configured screenshot analysis or report use can proceed. Choose Dismiss alert to exclude the event from the report. If approved analysis returns a finding, use Accept as is or Review & edit after checking the source image. This approval gate applies to automatic alerts; human-created manual and voice events do not need Approve alert.
Official event eligibility
- Human-created quick, typed, dictated, voice-relay, viewer, and footage-tag events are official mission events unless a user deletes them.
- Automatic Device Live AI and AI live-watch alerts become official only after Approve alert.
- Accepted AI Review findings become official only after Accept as is or Review & edit on the Timeline.
- Pending or dismissed automatic alerts and accepted AI Review findings without Timeline officer review stay out of official event counts, playback markers, reports, offline exports, and evidence-chain views.
Pending and dismissed alerts may remain visible in the Timeline and Command Center so a reviewer can understand what was evaluated. Done — continue on Timeline or sealing the mission permanently removes AI candidates that never became official; it does not remove human-created events.
Browser dictation uses the browser’s speech-recognition capability. Allow microphone access when prompted. If dictation is unavailable, blocked, or cannot reach the browser speech service, type the event instead.
After the mission
- Open Play with Events.
- Scrub to the relevant frame.
- Enter an Event name and click Tag event.
AlphaRelay adds the event to the mission log, stores a screenshot from that frame, and links it to the timeline.
Resolve event timing against footage before generating the final report. For any AI-derived image analysis on the timeline, choose Accept as is or Review & edit before report generation.
