# Generate a Report

> Alpha AI draft, officer review, submit, and supervisor approval.

Alpha AI drafts the after-action report from mission events, footage references, photos, and custody data. A human must verify everything before submission.

## Steps

1. Open the closed mission and review timeline, footage, and photos.
2. Scroll to **After-Action Report** and click **Generate Report**.
3. Resolve **Items Requiring Officer Review**.
4. Edit the narrative or use **Edit executive summary** for the dashboard header summary.
5. Click **Submit for supervisor approval** when ready.

## Supervisor actions

Supervisors (often org admins) can **Approve** or **Return to draft**. Once approved:

* The report cannot be regenerated or edited
* Timeline events and photos stay locked

Supervisor and operator inboxes live on **Mission Dashboard** under Reports & Reviews.

## Email notifications

When configured, AlphaRelay sends email on report workflow events (submit, approve, return).
