# Pilot Agreements and Documents

> Sign pilot agreements, onboard agencies, and open signed agreement PDFs.

Pilot agreement signing is used when AlphaRelay needs an agency or pilot representative to review and sign a prepared agreement before onboarding.

## Sign an agreement

1. Open the signing link from the AlphaRelay email.
2. Review the agreement PDF in the browser.
3. Confirm the agency, signer name, email, and title.
4. Type the signer full name exactly as shown.
5. Check the authorization statement.
6. Click **Sign and save PDF**.

After signing, AlphaRelay creates a completed signed PDF and sends the onboarding email. If the request was already signed, the page shows the completed signed copy.

## Organization documents

Signed pilot agreements are stored privately and can be opened from **Organization Documents** by signed-in users with access to the linked organization.

1. Sign in to AlphaRelay.
2. Open **Organization Documents** when it is available for your account.
3. Click **Open PDF** on the signed agreement row.

PDF links are short-lived signed URLs. Refresh the documents page if a link expires.

## Admin workflow

Internal AlphaRelay admins use **Admin → Pilot Documents** to:

* Upload immutable prepared PDF agreement versions
* Create signing requests
* Monitor viewed, signed, organization-created, invitation-sent, expired, or failed states
* Open original and signed PDFs
* Retry onboarding or resend the invite when needed

<Warning>
  Do not treat a signing request as complete until the signed agreement PDF is saved and onboarding status is complete or intentionally retried.
